Identity: Asian American or Christian

Asian American or Christian? How does our Asian American identity fit into the whole christian thing. Do we see ourselves as Asian American first, Christian second? Think of it as a venn diagram. Does our pers
pective make the Asian American circle bigger than the christian circle or is the Christian circle bigger? Is either circle completely inside the other?
This applies to whatever identity you have and isn’t limited to Asian American or Christian culture. You can apply it to whatever personality, career, political, interest-type that you identify with. My point is as Christians, we can not live in denial of who we associate with (ie, associating only with other Christians, in our Christian bubble or associating only with other Christians who also have something else in common with us (ie Asian American), or even feeling the burden or responsibility of unifying and working closely with all other Christians) but instead we must embrace our identities outside Christianity in order to
