Retroactive Bed Bath and Beyond 20% Coupons

View Comments

Bed Bath and Beyond often mail out 20% off (single item) coupons in the mail.  Sometimes they send out $5 off $15 purchase or $10 off $30 purchase coupons as well.  You can purchase these coupons on ebay for a small handling fee or have friends and family collect for you or rummage around in your apartment complex recycling bin :)

In my experience, you use as many 20% off (single item) coupons as you have items at the check out counter, despite what the fine print reads.  It has also been my experience that the 20% off (single item) coupons never expire, despite the often listed  experation date on the coupon itself.  Another convenient unofficial policy seems to be that Bed Bath and Beyond will allow you to retro-actively apply 20% coupons to receipts that you may have saved for whatever reason and not previously applied coupons towards items.

Hope this little tip saves you some money next time you need to buy a trashcan or a towel or a dish rack…and if you need a coupon, feel free to ask me for one as I’ve collected quite a few :)  Make sure you compare the price you would pay at Bed Bath and Beyond + coupon versus the price at Amazon.com.  Usually Bed Bath and Beyond + Coupon will be cheaper, but not always.  Factor in driving distance and convenience as well when making your decision.
