a drop of water

A few weeks ago Jenn and I had the honor of taking some photographs for the Kirstens! We’d been planning this session for over half a year so that we could get some shots while her parents were in town.  We were pretty exhausted from shooting a wedding the day before, but we had a great time with them, capturing the beauty of their family.  Here are a few shots :)  Enjoy!

Jenn and I had a great creative session with the beautiful Baron Family at their house late last month.  Ella tells it best when she described the day as:

“it was a day of surprises because the chidren are at the age where they do not have the word ‘pose’ or ‘stand still’ in their (willing) vocabulary.  Any and all ideas you photographers (and us parents) offered were totally and spiritedly ignored.”

They have such a cool mid-modern century decorated house and an awesome story behind how God provided for them there.  Maybe when the kids are a little older we can do another shoot and incorporate more of the house decor!  Here are a few sample shots for you to enjoy :)
